Left overs!

I made a while sauce and put turkey, broc, rice and sweetcorn in with it and heated it all up. It was really pretty tasty! :D

Leftover beef pie, roasted vegetables, rice and Pumpkin Pie for dessert!

Am I a ROCKIN' wife and mother or WHAT?!? :D ( all ready and on the table at 6, with candles, napkins, the works!! LOL! )

Open Faced Turkey Sandwiches...

Rex made some sandwiched with Challah bread, turkey and gravy poured on top. A little cranberry sauce on the side... it was delicious!! Who needs veggies!?!? :D

MEAT PIE!!!

Today I made hubby a Beef and Mushroom PIE with a CRUST!!!!! It was really very good though I do say so myself! :D I cooked the meat, mushrooms, onions and potatoes in the slow cooker all afternoon. I made the pastry and added a bag of organic mixed veggies to the meat then poured the lot into a new pie dish hubby had bought especially for the occasion!! I covered the meat with the pastry, patted and pricked it and marked it with B and put it in the oven .... where it boiled over and stank up the place with smoke!! It tasted FAB though! I served it with yesterday's mash and gravy!! It was so good and he was sooo thrilled!! He took PICS of it!!! :D

LOL!! They do say the way to a man's heart is through his stomach!! ;D

And the gravy was awesome again! :D I used potato and veggie water for about 1 1/2 cups and then added strained turkey drippings up to 2 cups... MAN it's delicious! :D
