MEAT PIE!!!

Today I made hubby a Beef and Mushroom PIE with a CRUST!!!!! It was really very good though I do say so myself! :D I cooked the meat, mushrooms, onions and potatoes in the slow cooker all afternoon. I made the pastry and added a bag of organic mixed veggies to the meat then poured the lot into a new pie dish hubby had bought especially for the occasion!! I covered the meat with the pastry, patted and pricked it and marked it with B and put it in the oven .... where it boiled over and stank up the place with smoke!! It tasted FAB though! I served it with yesterday's mash and gravy!! It was so good and he was sooo thrilled!! He took PICS of it!!! :D

LOL!! They do say the way to a man's heart is through his stomach!! ;D
